NOTICE TO ALL MEMBERS OF IIPE ANDHRA PRADESH & TELENGANA CHAPTER

Subject: Urgent Warning against Attendance at Unauthorized / Illegal General Body Meeting

It has come to the notice of the Governing Council /Head Quarters that an unauthorized group or individuals are circulating an invitation for an Annual General Meeting (AGM) scheduled to be held on 20th September 2026 at IIPE House, West Marredpally, Secunderabad, Telengana State.

Please be advised that this purported meeting has not been called, authorized, or sanctioned by the Governing Council of the Indian Institution of Plant Engineers or the registered National Office Bearers of Indian Institution of Plant Engineers under the bye laws of the institution and Statues of the Registrar of Societies, Chennai and Principal Commissioner of Income Tax, Chennai. Consequently, any such meeting is completely illegal, null, and void under the provisions of the bylaws and applicable Societies, IT laws.

We strongly advise all members not to attend this unauthorized gathering.

Please take note of the following critical information: No Official Standing: Any resolutions passed or decisions made at this illegal meeting will have no legal validity and will not bind the institution or its members.

Risk of Misinformation: The organizers of this unauthorized meeting do not speak for the Institution. Information shared there may be misleading or fraudulent.

Official AGM Date: There is no Executive Committee of the Chapter as it has been dissolved by the Governing Council during it 172nd GC Meeting held on 29.12.2025 and 52nd National AGM held on 28th February 2026. The official, legally compliant chapter Annual General Meeting of the members shall be scheduled in accordance with the regulatory timelines. You will receive a formal notice, agenda, and authorized mail from the official mail ID / circular in due course.

The Governing Council is currently taking appropriate legal action against the individuals organizing this disruptive and unlawful activity, in order to protect the interests of the institution and its valued members.

Please note that anyone attending or supporting such meeting shall attract disciplinary action by the statutory compliance and monitoring committee / Governing council as per the byelaw of the institution.
